We added flexible joints to the underground drainage where the pipe passes through the foundation. These short sections, known as rocker pipes, allow for differential movement between the pipework and the foundations.
Getting both couplers onto the pipe was a struggle, even with plenty of lubricant, but we got there in the end and backfilled the trench.
