The first stage was to move the shed and demolish the existing brick outbuilding and rear porch. We started in early September, while we were in quarantine after our summer holiday.
Dismantling and moving a rotting shed without taking the roof apart was an experience—one we won’t be repeating!
Demolishing the brick outbuilding and rear porch was more straightforward. The concrete slab was harder work: it was 20cm thick in places, so we hired a breaker to tackle it.
