Another week on, and we’ve made more progress digging the drainage trenches.

We’re fortunate to be at the start of the foul drainage line. No other property uses the drains on our land, and the section we’re moving isn’t a public sewer.

For our project, that means we don’t need consent from the water authority to relocate those drains. It’s a welcome relief: moving a public sewer could potentially have added thousands of pounds to the cost.
