The building inspector came today for his first visit since before the foundations were poured. He didn’t stay long and was very happy with everything we had done.
It was a relief that he found no faults. With the substructure, damp-proof membrane and damp-proof courses approved, we can now pour the concrete floor slab.
His next visit won’t be needed until the roof is on.
