The steel windposts have finally arrived, so after a two-week break we can get going again. While we were waiting, we built the first part of our new deck at the bottom of the garden.
Today we installed the first windpost. I felt a little out of my depth when they arrived, but fitting the first one turned out to be quite straightforward.
It’s more than three metres long and weighs 35kg. The heaviest posts weigh 50kg, so there are some heavier ones still to tackle.
